You can register for the ACOWE Technical Symposium as a stand-alone event, or you can include in your GNEC registration. There are options for other separate experiences such as the ICN Supply Chain Breakfast. Application guidelines:
Numbers are limited and all application must be by via the application form. If successful you will receive an email with instruction on how to proceed. 
We welcome applications from:
• Individuals who might otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints
Priority will be given to:
• Young people under 30
• First Nations community members
• Culturally diverse
• Those experiencing financial hardship
• Individuals who are studying a degree, masters or PHD relevant to the clean energy industry 
• Representatives from Gippsland community groups supporting the clean energy transition

Registration is via the registration page on ww.gnec.com.au. Select your desired option from the tiles and complete the online form that is linked to our event app PheedLoop and pay to complete your registration.  You will receive an email confirmation with a link to access the GNEC Event PheedLoop App.

GNEC26 is an in-person only event. All sessions, networking opportunities and activities will be conducted on-site. Sessions will not be recorded.

Registration fees include access to Conference Day(s) of registration and the provision of coffee breaks, lunch and access to the trade and industry showcase pavilions.

Delegates Networking event at the end of Day 1, with complimentary drinks and finger food 5:00 – 7:00pm.

If you are interested in connecting to industry leaders to unlock Gippsland supply chain opportunities for small and large businesses and foster collaboration, then the Supply Chain Breakfast is for you.  This curated breakfast event includes keynote presentations, supplier insights, and direct pathways into upcoming projects.

Held on Day 2, 19 August at 7:00 -9:00 am in the Little Theatre in the GPAC precinct and hosted by ICN Victoria. Don’t leave it to late, tickets are strictly limited.

Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the Summit will be eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this date. Contact enquiries@gccn.org.au 

Can I transfer my registration or ticket(s) to another person?2026-06-15T11:34:49+10:00

Yes, you may transfer your ticket to another person within your organisation by contacting us at enquiries@gccn.org.au. Please provide the previous registration and the new attendee’s full name, email and contact information.

Are there option for dietary restrictions?2026-06-15T11:36:46+10:00

We aim to accommodate dietary restrictions where possible. Please note any dietary requirements when registering. If registering less than a month before the conference, we may not be able to cater to your requirements.  Please feel free to bring your own provisions.

Yes. Your ticket(s) also grant you access to PheedLoop the mobile event app. It is designed to enhance your experience by providing access to the program, speaker biography’s, venue map, networking tools, and live updates. You can send messages, set up meetings, and view attendee profiles, depending on their privacy settings.

We encourage you to download and add your details and settings before you arrive at the conference to optimise your experience.

The app can also be used to register your ticket via the self-check-in kiosk and name badge printing when you attend the conference.

GNEC 26 does not provide evening meals. Delegates are encouraged to explore Latrobe City’s local dining options and enjoy an informal networking opportunity with new and old colleagues. You are spoilt for choice—see Eat & Drink Latrobe City.

Accommodation is not included in your registration. We recommend you book early as Traralgon accommodation places can get booked out. Other options are in the surrounding towns the closest is Morwell.

Gippsland Performing Arts Centre is located in Traralgon and is easily accessible from the Princes Highway (M1) or a 10-minute walk from Traralgon Train Station (VLine). For datils on visiting GPC please visit the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre website

The approximate distance from Melbourne to Traralgon is 164 Kms. Just under 2hrs drive by car depending on time of day and traffic of course. Traralgon is centrally located for Gippslander’s.

VLine trains to Traralgon every 40 minutes.  V/Line – Regional public transport for Victoria – Plan trip/buy tickets

Bus service to ACOWE Technical Symposium Federation University. Latrobe Valley Buslines connects Churchill with Morwell and Traralgon. The Morwell-Churchill bus service operates between 6.30 am and 9.30 pm on a one-hour rotation, and the trip takes about 20 minutes. Board the bus at the Morwell Train Station. You’ll need a myki to travel on buses.
